About Lich's Relic

Lich's Relic, Artifact — equipment, designed by Elena Masci first released in September 2026 in the set Reality Fracture and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 4 formats: Modern, Standard, Legacy and Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 1.28.

Lich’s Relic looks best in multiplayer Commander decks that can exploit enter-the-battlefield triggers, blink or recur artifacts, and still want a cheap Equipment—especially black artifact, sacrifice, or Voltron shells—but it is much weaker in one-on-one formats because its removal costs an additional {2}, happens only once when it enters, and requires an opposing creature or planeswalker to target; the +2/+1 bonus and {2} equip cost are respectable but not exceptional. In most decks, better options are **Go for the Throat** or **Infernal Grasp** for efficient instant-speed removal, while Equipment-focused decks generally prefer **Shadowspear**, **Basilisk Collar**, **Nettlecyst**, or **Cranial Plating** for stronger recurring value and combat impact. I would test Lich’s Relic as a flavorful one-of in casual multiplayer artifact or blink decks, but it should not see serious competitive play unless the surrounding format heavily rewards cheap artifacts and repeated ETB recursion; it is
