About Lupine Prototype
Lupine Prototype, Artifact creature — wolf construct, designed by Deruchenko Alexander first released in Jul, 2016 in the set Eldritch Moon Promos and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.27.
A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and aims to empty its hand quickly would benefit from including Lupine Prototype, as it can become a powerful attacker when conditions are met. However, there are better options available in Magic: The Gathering, such as Robber of the Rich or Questing Beast, which offer more versatile abilities and impact on the game. While Lupine Prototype can be situationally useful, it may not see widespread play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other available options.
Rules
07/13/16
Lupine Prototype’s restriction applies only at the moment that attackers and blockers are chosen. If a player puts a card into their hand after Lupine Prototype has attacked or blocked, it won’t be removed from combat.
