About Mastermind's Acquisition
Mastermind's Acquisition, Sorcery, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in January 2018 in the set Rivals of Ixalan and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 2.94.
A deck that benefits from Mastermind's Acquisition is one that requires specific answers or combo pieces from outside the game, such as sideboard cards or silver bullets. While Mastermind's Acquisition offers flexibility in accessing key cards, it may be outshined by cards like Demonic Tutor or Vampiric Tutor, which provide similar effects at a lower mana cost. Overall, Mastermind's Acquisition could see play in decks that value its versatility and access to a wider range of options.
Rules

In a casual game, a card you choose from outside the game comes from your personal collection. In a tournament event, a card you choose from outside the game must come from your sideboard. You may look at your sideboard at any time.

There are many important moments in the story, but the most crucial—called “story spotlights”—are shown on cards. These cards have the Planeswalker symbol in their text box; this symbol has no effect on gameplay. You can read more about these events in the official Magic fiction at http://www.mtgstory.com.
