About Mathemagics

Mathemagics, Sorcery, designed by Liiga Smilshkalne first released in January 2026 in the set Secrets of Strixhaven and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 3.71.

It fits best in spell-based combo shells like Storm, Omniscience-style decks, or Commander decks that produce explosive mana (e.g., Azami, Kykar, Urza, or Kruphix builds). However, it would compete with—and often be worse than—existing scalable blue draw spells like **Blue Sun’s Zenith**, **Stroke of Genius**, or especially **Pull from Tomorrow**, because those provide flexible, efficient card draw without requiring double-scaling mana; notably, Blue Sun’s Zenith can also deck an opponent as a win condition and scales linearly, making it more reliable.
