Mutant Town, Land, designed by Josu Solano first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Mutant Town would fit best in a slower, budget Simic (green‑blue) deck that values incremental life gain and doesn’t mind lands entering tapped—such as casual +1/+1 counter decks, mutate-style builds, or midrange/ramp strategies where early tempo isn’t critical and the 1 life can marginally support lifegain payoffs. However, in most competitive environments it would be outclassed by lands like **Breeding Pool** (which can enter untapped at the cost of 2 life), **Hinterland Harbor**, **Botanical Sanctum**, **Dreamroot Cascade**, or even **Thornwood Falls** (which similarly gains 1 life but exists in real card pools and fills the same budget role), as these options either provide better tempo or are already established staples; even common duals that can enter untapped under certain conditions are generally stronger.
