The Owlbear Shepherd card would benefit a green creature-based deck that focuses on ramping up power quickly to draw extra cards. However, there are better options available, such as Beast Whisperer, which provides card draw for every creature you cast, making it more consistent and powerful in a creature-heavy deck. Owlbear Shepherd could see play in a casual or thematic deck, but for competitive play, other cards like Beast Whisperer would likely be more effective.
