This card could potentially be valuable in a red control or land destruction deck, as it can disrupt opponents' mana bases while also clearing the board of creatures. However, its high mana cost and the fact that each player gets to keep six lands may limit its effectiveness compared to other mass land destruction spells like Armageddon or Ravages of War, which are more devastating and one-sided. In general, Planetary Annihilation may be a situational card and may not see widespread play in competitive settings.
