Strength of Will Art Series, Card , designed by Ryan Pancoast & Ryan Pancoast first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Marvel's Spider-Man Art Series.
**Strength of Will** is best suited for aggressive or tempo-based blue decks—especially in Eternal formats like Legacy or Vintage—where maintaining early momentum and protecting key threats (like in Delver-style decks) is critical. Its alternate cost of exiling a blue card and paying 1 life allows you to interact while tapped out, making it useful for surprise protection in low-curve, blue-heavy aggro-control shells. However, it is generally weaker than **Force of Will** (which provides unconditional free countermagic) and often less reliable than **Daze** or even **Force Spike**, since opponents can usually pay the extra 1 mana in the mid-to-late game. As a result, Strength of Will is a niche, budget, or redundancy option rather than an optimal choice, and it only sees play in very specific builds that want additional free interaction beyond the strictly better alternatives.
