Bark of Doran fits best in a toughness-matters (a.k.a. “butt matters”) deck, typically Abzan or Selesnya, built around creatures with high toughness and low power—cards like Doran, the Siege Tower, Arcades, the Strategist, Assault Formation, or High Alert—where turning toughness into damage is a core strategy; it also works well with efficient high-toughness creatures such as Wall of Omens, Sylvan Caryatid, or Treefolk creatures in Commander.
