This Vodalian Soldiers card would be a good fit for a Merfolk tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it synergizes well with other Merfolk creatures and can provide early game defense. However, there are better options available such as Silvergill Adept, which not only provides card advantage but also has a relevant tribal type. Vodalian Soldiers may not see play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other options available.
