This card, Soulscour, would benefit a control deck looking to wipe the board of all nonartifact permanents to gain control of the game. While it has a high mana cost, it can be a game-changing play in the right situation. However, there are other cards like Wrath of God or Damnation that offer similar effects at a lower cost, making them more efficient choices in most scenarios. Soulscour could see play in specific metas or decks looking for redundancy in board wipes, but generally, there are better options available.
