Whirling Catapult, Artifact, designed by Dan Frazier first released in Jun, 1996 in the set Alliances and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.68.
Whirling Catapult would fit well in a control or midrange deck that can generate card advantage and has a focus on dealing with flying creatures, as well as applying pressure to opponents directly. Decks that utilize blue or black colors, which often have ways to manipulate the top of the library or recycle cards, can maximize its potential. While there are better options for direct damage or board control, such as Chandra, Pyromaster for consistent damage or Stormwing Entity for flying threats, Whirling Catapult can still see play in niche strategies focusing on exile effects or if the deck can effectively manage its mana costs and card draw. Overall, it could be a fun inclusion in a thematic deck, but may not be optimal in competitive play.

If your library has fewer than two cards in it, you can’t activate the ability.
