This card would be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that aims to quickly deal damage to the opponent. However, there are better options available such as creatures with more impactful abilities or higher power/toughness ratios for the same mana cost. Desert Nomads might not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its limited utility compared to other available options.
