Wildgrove Summoner would fit best in a mono‑green or heavy‑green ramp deck that plays an unusually high Forest count and can exploit land synergies, especially in formats like Historic or Alchemy where “perpetually” effects exist; it pairs well with landfall payoffs (like Scute Swarm or Tireless Provisioner), cards that let you play extra lands (Azusa, Lost but Seeking; Exploration), and top‑deck manipulation or card draw to access the animated Forests after they become creatures.
