About Robo-

Robo-, Artifact creature — construct, designed by Matt Dixon first released in Dec, 2017 in the set Unstable. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.48.

This card would fit well in an artifact-based deck that focuses on playing and benefiting from artifacts entering the battlefield. Decks that revolve around artifact synergies, such as artifact ramp or artifact token strategies, would benefit from Robo-. While Robo- has potential in such decks, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy and format. Cards like Wurmcoil Engine or Steel Overseer could offer more immediate impact or synergy with existing strategies, so Robo- might not see widespread play but could still be a fun addition for players looking to experiment with artifact-centric decks.

Rules

01/19/18

Augment can (and usually does) change the name, card types, subtypes, rules text, and power/toughness. The combined creature will have (at least) two artists and may now have multiple colors. Anything covered up in the augment process doesn’t count, so ignore things to the left of the “metal bar” in the art of host creatures.

01/19/18

Creatures with augment don’t have a mana cost and can’t be cast.

01/19/18

The creature card with augment isn’t put onto the battlefield until the ability resolves. This means if the host is destroyed, the creature with augment stays in your hand. You can’t choose a different host, but you can activate augment again if there’s another host available.

01/19/18

You can’t put more than one augment card on a single host creature. Once a host creature is augmented, the host part gets covered up and it’s no longer a host creature.
