Sabertooth Mauler, Creature — cat, designed by Randy Vargas first released in Jun, 2020 in the set Core Set 2021 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.49.
A deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Golgari or Jund sacrifice deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from using Sabertooth Mauler. However, there are better cards like Bloodghast or Gravecrawler that provide more consistent value and are easier to recur, making them more viable options for competitive play. Sabertooth Mauler could be a fun inclusion in a casual deck centered around creature sacrifice themes.

If a creature didn’t die before your end step begins, Sabertooth Mauler’s ability doesn’t trigger at all. The creature may have died before Sabertooth Mauler entered the battlefield, however.
