About Seasinger
Seasinger, Creature — merfolk, designed by Amy Weber first released in Nov, 1994 in the set Fallen Empires and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.50.
This card, Seasinger, could be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's board by stealing their creatures. However, its drawback of needing no Islands to stay on the battlefield and the ability for the opponent to untap it may limit its effectiveness. There are better cards like Control Magic or Treachery that offer similar effects without the same restrictions, making Seasinger less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
Rules
09/16/07
Whether you control Seasinger is checked continually, starting when the ability is activated. If, before the ability resolves, there’s any point at which you don’t control Seasinger, the ability has no effect — even if you control Seasinger again by the time the ability resolves. The same is true regarding whether Seasinger remains tapped.
10/04/04
You do not lose control of the stolen creature if it stops being a creature. You only lose control if Seasinger leaves your control or becomes untapped.
