Selenia, Vanguard, designed by Quinton Hoover first released in May, 1997 in the set Vanguard Series.

This card, Selenia, would be a great addition to a white weenie or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, as giving creatures vigilance can allow for both attacking and blocking in the same turn, increasing pressure on the opponent. However, in more competitive settings, other cards like Always Watching or Benalish Marshal may be considered better options for similar effects, as they provide additional bonuses such as power and toughness boosts. Selenia could still see play in more casual or budget decks looking for a vigilance enabler.
