A control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's board state and maintaining a strong defensive position could benefit from using Sky Swallower, as it provides a powerful flying threat while also forcing the opponent to take control of your other permanents, potentially disrupting their own strategy. However, there are more efficient and versatile options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool, such as Sphinx of the Steel Wind or Consecrated Sphinx, which offer similar flying threats without the drawback of giving control to the opponent.
