This card, Sorcerous Sight, would benefit control decks that focus on disrupting the opponent's strategy by gaining information about their hand and drawing a card for additional resources. While Sorcerous Sight can be useful in certain situations, there are more efficient cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that not only provide hand disruption but also allow you to remove a key card from the opponent's hand. Overall, Sorcerous Sight may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited impact compared to other hand disruption spells available.
