| Flavor | Starke believes in situational ethics—the situation determines the ethics. He's switched sides so often that he has become everyone's ally yet no one's friend. This former merchant of Rath accompanies the *Weatherlight* crew on their journey to his home world. |

About Starke
Starke, Vanguard, designed by Donato Giancola first released in May, 1997 in the set Vanguard Series. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.70.
Starke can be beneficial in decks that focus on drawing extra cards and manipulating their hand. Decks with cards that care about having fewer cards in hand or benefit from specific cards being in the graveyard could find value in utilizing Starke's ability. While Starke can be a useful tool in certain situations, there are potentially better options available, such as Jace, the Mind Sculptor, which offers card advantage without requiring a card to be put back. Whether Starke sees play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck it is included in.
