About Terisiare's Devastation
Terisiare's Devastation, Sorcery, designed by Bram Sels first released in October 2022 in the set The Brothers' War Commander and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.64.
A deck focused on sacrificing artifacts or generating a large number of artifacts would benefit from using Terisiare's Devastation, as it can provide a significant board presence and potentially act as a finisher by weakening opponents' creatures. However, there are potentially better cards such as Toxic Deluge or Damnation which offer more efficient board wipes without the life loss drawback, making them more versatile options for control decks. Whether Terisiare's Devastation should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, as it can be a powerful tool in the right context.
Rules
10/14/2022
Although all the cards in The Brothers’ War that create Powerstone tokens create a tapped Powerstone token, entering the battlefield tapped isn’t part of the token’s definition. Notably, if you create a token that is a copy of a Powerstone token, the token copy won’t enter the battlefield tapped.
10/14/2022
Powerstone tokens are a kind of predefined token. Each one has the artifact subtype “Powerstone” and the ability “{T}: Add {C}. This mana can’t be spent to cast a nonartifact spell.”
10/14/2022
You can use the {C} added by a Powerstone token on anything that isn’t a nonartifact spell. This includes paying costs to activate abilities of both artifact and nonartifact permanents, paying ward costs, and so on.
