The Ooze, Legendary artifact, designed by Gabriel Tanko first released in January 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It see play in 4 formats: Standard, Pioneer, Commander and Vintage. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 6.71.

The Ooze would fit best in a +1/+1 counter–focused deck, especially in Commander, where cards like *Hardened Scales*, *Branching Evolution*, *Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider*, or *Cathars' Crusade* amplify counter production and where creatures frequently die or are sacrificed for value (e.g., with *Viscera Seer* or *Ashnod’s Altar*), turning each counter into future board growth via Mutagen tokens; it also pairs well with persist/undying creatures and modular creatures to repeatedly convert counters into resources, while its graveyard exile ability gives incidental utility against recursion strategies. However, compared to staples like *The Ozolith* (which directly preserves and redistributes counters far more efficiently), *Hardened Scales* (cheap scaling engine), or *Animation Module* (repeatable token/counter synergy), The Ooze is slower and more mana-intensive, making it unlikely to see competitive play but reasonable as a grindy value engine in casual or mid-power Commander counter d
