A deck centered around Sliver tribal synergy in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from including Thorncaster Sliver, as it amplifies the aggression of a sliver-themed deck by adding a direct damage effect upon attack. While there may be other powerful slivers, such as Gemhide Sliver for mana acceleration or Crystalline Sliver for protection, Thorncaster Sliver's ability to deal direct damage can be particularly useful in closing out games. Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
