This card would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck that aims to deal quick damage to the opponent. However, there are better options like [[Sword of Fire and Ice]] or [[Sword of Feast and Famine]] which provide additional abilities and protection. Tormentor's Trident could see play in a budget or theme deck, but in competitive settings, it may not be the most optimal choice.
