About Twincast
Twincast, Instant, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in Jun, 2005 in the set Saviors of Kamigawa and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 12.88. It's a key card in 1 combos.
Twincast is a versatile card that can be beneficial in a variety of decks, particularly those focused on control or combo strategies. It provides the ability to duplicate powerful instant or sorcery spells, allowing for increased flexibility and potential for game-winning plays. While there are other similar cards like Fork or Reiterate that offer similar effects, Twincast's efficiency at just UU makes it a strong contender for inclusion in decks looking to maximize spell duplication. Overall, Twincast is a solid card that should definitely see play in decks looking to capitalize on its copy ability.
Rules
03/19/21
If the spell that’s copied has an X whose value was determined as it was cast, the copy will have the same value of X.
03/19/21
The copy will have the same targets as the spell it’s copying unless you choose new ones. You may change any number of the targets, including all of them or none of them. If, for one of the targets, you can’t choose a new legal target, then it remains unchanged (even if the current target is illegal).
03/19/21
Twincast can copy any instant or sorcery spell, not just one with targets.
03/19/21
You can’t choose to pay any alternative or additional costs for the copy. However, effects based on any alternative or additional costs that were paid for the original spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy.
10/01/09
If the spell Twincast copies has an X whose value was determined as it was cast (like Earthquake does), the copy has the same value of X.
10/01/09
Twincast can target (and copy) any instant or sorcery spell, not just one with targets. It doesn’t matter who controls it.
06/01/05
You can’t choose to pay any additional costs for the copy. However, effects based on any additional costs paid for the targeted spell are copied as though those same costs were paid for the copy too.
