Vagrant Plowbeasts, Creature — beast, designed by Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai first released in May, 2020 in the set Conflux. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.48.
A deck that focuses on big creatures with power 5 or greater would benefit from including Vagrant Plowbeasts, especially if it needs a way to protect them from removal. However, there are better options like Thragtusk or Carnage Tyrant that offer more value or protection. Vagrant Plowbeasts could see situational play in a deck that specifically needs its regeneration ability, but overall it may not be a top choice in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

This ability checks the targeted creature’s power only at the time the ability is activated and at the time it resolves. The regeneration shield it creates will work no matter what that creature’s power is at the time it would be destroyed.
