**Volatile Rift** would fit best in a Gruul (red/green) or multicolor “toolbox” deck that consistently puts creature cards from the library into hand—through effects like tutors (e.g., *Worldly Tutor*, *Shared Summons*), impulse-draw that specifies creatures, or repeatable creature-search engines—so it can repeatedly trigger Vivid and turn those creatures into large, aggressive threats before they’re cast; it’s especially attractive in 3–5 color builds where the +X/+0 boost is consistently +3 to +5.
