About Voracious Hatchling
Voracious Hatchling, Creature — elemental, designed by Jeremy Enecio first released in Jul, 2008 in the set Eventide. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.50.
A deck that focuses on a combination of white and black spells, such as an Orzhov (white-black) control or midrange deck, would benefit from using Voracious Hatchling. The lifelink ability combined with the potential to remove -1/-1 counters by casting spells in those colors provides a good source of recurring value. While there may be more powerful cards available, Voracious Hatchling could find a place in decks looking for incremental advantage and resilience in a slower, more grindy game plan.
Rules
08/01/08
If you cast a spell that’s both of the listed colors, both abilities will trigger. You’ll remove a total of two -1/-1 counters from the Hatchling.
