About Wargling
Wargling, Creature — wolf, designed by Adrián Rodríguez Pérez first released in July 2026 in the set The Hobbit. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.01.
Wargling fits best in a green-based stompy or Gruul Wolves/Beasts deck that can reliably have a 4-power creature on board by the time it attacks, especially a go-wide build where granting the whole team trample converts stalled combat into damage; it is much weaker in a typical low-curve Wolf tribal deck that cannot consistently enable ferocious. `Heir of the Wilds` is generally the better two-mana ferocious attacker because it becomes a 3/3 with deathtouch, making it impactful even when blocked, while Wargling is preferable only when its team-wide trample will regularly matter. Without knowing Wargling's base power/toughness, it is unlikely to be a broadly competitive staple, but it could see casual play as a synergistic finisher in an aggressive ferocious deck rather than as an automatic inclusion.

Wargling's triggered ability will check when it attacks to see if you control a creature with power 4 or greater. If you don't, the ability won't trigger at all. It will not check again when it resolves, so the ability will resolve even if you no longer control a creature with power 4 or greater.
