A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly, such as a Tron deck or a ramp deck, would benefit from using Cloudpost. However, there are better alternatives like Glimmerpost or Vesuva, which provide immediate benefits without entering tapped. Cloudpost could still see play in certain strategies that require a high amount of colorless mana generation, but it may not be the optimal choice in most cases due to its drawback of entering tapped.
