A deck that focuses on artifacts, especially ones with powerful abilities or win conditions, would benefit from using Madcap Experiment. While the card can be risky due to the potential damage it deals to you, the payoff of putting a powerful artifact directly onto the battlefield can be game-changing. In some cases, other cards like Goblin Welder or Goblin Engineer may provide more controlled ways to get artifacts into play, but Madcap Experiment can still be a fun and unpredictable addition to decks looking for explosive plays. It could see play in decks that can mitigate the self-damage or have ways to capitalize on the artifact put onto the battlefield.
