A deck that focuses on noncreature artifacts, such as artifact ramp or artifact synergy decks, would benefit from using March of the Machines as it can turn all noncreature artifacts into artifact creatures, potentially increasing the deck's offensive capabilities. However, there are better cards like Karn, the Great Creator or Karn, Scion of Urza that offer more versatile and powerful effects for artifact-based decks, making March of the Machines less likely to see play in competitive settings.

A noncreature permanent that turns into a creature is subject to the “summoning sickness” rule: It can only attack, and its abilities can only be activated, if its controller has continuously controlled that permanent since the beginning of their most recent turn.
