A deck that focuses on controlling the board and removing threats would benefit from including Mire Blight, as it provides a way to efficiently deal with creatures by destroying them when they are dealt damage. However, there are better options available such as Doom Blade or Fatal Push which offer more versatile removal at a similar cost. Mire Blight may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited scope compared to other removal options.
