About Brooding Saurian
Brooding Saurian, Creature — lizard, designed by rk post first released in Jul, 2006 in the set Coldsnap and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 76.40.
This card, Brooding Saurian, could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on sacrificing or bouncing permanents for value, as it allows players to regain control of their own permanents at the end of each turn. However, in a competitive setting, cards like Homeward Path or Brand can provide more targeted control over ownership of permanents, making them potentially better options depending on the specific strategy of the deck. Overall, Brooding Saurian may not see widespread play due to its higher mana cost and situational usefulness compared to other similar cards.
Rules
07/15/06
If a permanent is enchanted with an Aura such as Confiscate when Brooding Saurian’s ability resolves, the enchanted permanent’s owner will regain control of it. The Aura will not be removed. The Aura will still be controlled by its owner, but its effect will be overridden.
