Chronatog Avatar, Vanguard, designed by UDON first released in Jan, 2003 in the set Magic Online Avatars. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 37.94.
This card would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on drawing and maintaining card advantage. While Chronatog Avatar offers the advantage of drawing three cards at the cost of skipping a turn, there are better options like Jace, the Mind Sculptor or Teferi, Time Raveler that provide card advantage without the drawback of skipping a turn. Therefore, Chronatog Avatar may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its high cost and downside.
