This card, Crystal Ball, would benefit control decks that focus on manipulating their library and setting up their draws. While it provides card selection and helps with consistency, there are better options like Sensei's Divining Top or Scroll Rack that offer more powerful effects for a similar cost. However, Crystal Ball could still see play in budget decks or as a budget alternative in casual settings where those more powerful options are not available.
