Questa carta, Dauntless Escort, sarebbe un ottimo aggiunta a un mazzo che si concentra sulla protezione delle sue creature e sul mantenimento della presenza in campo. I mazzi che si basano su strategie con molte creature o che sono vulnerabili agli board wipes trarrebbero beneficio dalla sua abilità di concedere indistruttibilità a tutte le creature. Anche se potrebbero esserci altre carte con effetti simili come Selfless Spirit o Heroic Intervention, il basso costo di mana e il tipo di creatura di Dauntless Escort lo rendono una scelta solida per i mazzi che cercano di proteggere le loro creature. Lethal damage and effects that say “destroy” won’t cause a creature with indestructible to be put into the graveyard. However, a creature with indestructible can be put into the graveyard for a number of reasons. The most likely reasons are if it’s sacrificed, if it’s legendary and another legendary creature with the same name is controlled by the same player, or if its toughness is 0 or less.

Once Dauntless Escort’s ability resolves, the set of creatures it affects is locked in. It won’t affect creatures that enter the battlefield after the ability has finished resolving.
