About Decree of Savagery

Decree of Savagery, Instant, designed by Alex Horley-Orlandelli first released in May, 2020 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.13.

This card, Decree of Savagery, would benefit a deck focused on creature swarm strategies, such as a green-based aggro or token deck. While it can provide a significant boost to all creatures you control, the high mana cost may make it less efficient compared to other cards like Craterhoof Behemoth, which can provide a similar effect with a bigger impact on the board. Decree of Savagery could see play in certain niche decks that can generate a lot of mana quickly and have ways to take advantage of the +1/+1 counters, but overall, it may not be a top choice in competitive play.

Cycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with cycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.

The cycling ability and the triggered ability are separate. If the triggered ability doesn’t resolve (due to being countered with Stifle, for example, or if all its targets have become illegal), the cycling ability will still resolve and you’ll draw a card.
