This Dust Elemental card would be beneficial in a white-based control or tempo deck looking to disrupt the opponent's board presence while maintaining flexibility and surprise with its flash ability. However, there are potentially better options such as Flickerwisp, which offers a similar effect but with more versatility and value by targeting any permanent, making it a stronger choice for most decks. Overall, Dust Elemental could see situational play in specific strategies but may not be a staple in competitive decks due to its limitations and higher mana cost.
