About Echo Storm
Echo Storm, Sorcery, designed by Mark Poole first released in Nov, 2016 in the set Treasure Chest and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 15.53.
This card, Echo Storm, would greatly benefit a Commander deck that focuses on casting their commander multiple times throughout the game. Decks that rely on their commander for key abilities or win conditions would find this card particularly powerful. While there may be better cards with similar effects, such as Rite of Replication for creating multiple copies of a target artifact, Echo Storm's unique ability to scale with the number of times the commander has been cast makes it a strong contender for inclusion in the right deck. It should definitely see play in decks that can take full advantage of its potential for creating multiple copies of valuable artifacts.
Rules
10/05/18
If you have multiple commanders, you’ll copy this spell for each time you’ve cast either of them. For example, if you’ve cast one commander once and one twice, you’ll copy this spell three times.
07/13/18
Each copy resolves one at a time. Any abilities that trigger on the artifact token entering the battlefield resolve before the next copy resolves. The original spell is the last to resolve.
07/13/18
Each Storm’s triggered ability can copy the Storm spell even if that spell is countered before that ability resolves.
07/13/18
Each Storm’s triggered ability counts only how many times you’ve cast your commander from the command zone before that triggered ability resolves. If you cast your commander again later, you won’t get another copy.
07/13/18
If the copied artifact has in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.
07/13/18
If the copied artifact is copying something else (for example, if the copied artifact is a Sculpting Steel), then the token enters the battlefield as whatever that artifact copied.
