About Helm of Chatzuk

Helm of Chatzuk, Artifact, designed by Mark Tedin first released in May, 2020 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 13 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 48.22.

The Helm of Chatzuk would benefit a deck focused on creating synergistic combat situations, such as a tribal deck with multiple creatures that have banding or other abilities that work well in a group. However, in most cases, there are better cards available that offer more impactful effects for the same mana cost, such as equipment that provides more consistent benefits or creatures with more powerful abilities. Overall, the Helm of Chatzuk may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited utility compared to other options.

If a creature with banding attacks, it can team up with any number of other attacking creatures with banding (and up to one nonbanding creature) and attack as a unit called a “band.” The band can be blocked by any creature that could block a single creature in the band. Blocking any creature in a band blocks the entire band. If a creature with banding is blocked, the attacking player chooses how the blockers’ damage is assigned.
