About Nightcreep

Nightcreep, Instant, designed by Jeff Miracola first released in May, 2006 in the set Dissension. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 31.46.

AI: Nightcreep would be beneficial in a mono-black control deck looking to disrupt opponents' strategies by turning all creatures black and all lands into Swamps, potentially shutting down multicolored decks or strategies relying on specific land types. However, for a similar effect with more versatility, a card like Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth could be considered, as it turns all lands into Swamps permanently, providing consistent mana fixing and synergy with other Swamp-related cards. If a permanent is both a creature and a land, Nightcreep replaces all of its land types with Swamp, but it doesn’t affect its creature types. The creature land loses all abilities generated by its rules text and its previous land types but retains any abilities granted to it by other effects. For example, an animated Blinkmoth Nexus becomes a black creature land with the land subtype Swamp whose only abilities are flying and “: Add .”
