About Turtle Tracks
Turtle Tracks, Sorcery, designed by Marina Ortega Lorente first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Eternal.
Turtle Tracks is a political ramp spell best suited for multiplayer Commander (EDH) decks that benefit from table diplomacy, group hug strategies (like Kynaios and Tiro, Phelddagrif, or Gluntch), or decks that want to trigger landfall across multiple players for political leverage while ensuring you also ramp; however, in most optimized green decks it is significantly outclassed by cards like **Cultivate**, **Kodama’s Reach**, **Nature’s Lore**, **Three Visits**, or even **Skyshroud Claim**, since those guarantee your ramp without helping opponents, and in competitive environments giving opponents free lands is usually a major drawback unless you are explicitly exploiting it (e.g., with landfall punishment like Zo-Zu the Punisher or Ob Nixilis, the Fallen). Overall, it is playable in casual, political, or thematic decks but is generally inferior to more efficient and self-focused ramp spells and would not typically see play in optimized or competitive builds.
