This card, Undertow, would be beneficial in a deck that relies on islandwalk creatures to deal damage to opponents who control islands. However, there are better alternatives such as Aquitect's Will which not only removes islandwalk but also lets you draw a card. Undertow could see play in specific metagames where islandwalk creatures are prevalent, but overall, it may not be the most efficient choice compared to other options available.
