About Alibou, Ancient Witness

Alibou, Ancient Witness, Legendary artifact creature — golem, designed by Matt Stewart first released in Apr, 2021 in the set Commander 2021 and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 9.54.

Alibou, Ancient Witness would benefit a deck focused on artifact creatures and aggressive strategies, as it provides haste to all other artifact creatures and offers a powerful ability that rewards attacking with artifact creatures by dealing damage and allowing you to scry based on the number of tapped artifacts you control. While Alibou can be a strong inclusion in such a deck, other cards like Steel Overseer or Cranial Plating might offer more immediate impact or synergy in certain artifact-focused decks, so its inclusion would depend on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck in question.

Rules

04/16/21

If Alibou leaves the battlefield, artifact creatures you control lose haste. If they haven’t been under your control since the turn began and don’t otherwise have haste, they can’t attack that turn. If they’ve already attacked, losing haste won’t remove them from combat and they’ll remain attackers.

04/16/21

If you control no tapped artifacts when the triggered ability resolves (perhaps because they were destroyed or had vigilance), no damage will be dealt and you won’t scry.
