Eager Construct would be beneficial in a deck that values card selection and manipulation, such as a control or combo deck. While it offers a small advantage by allowing each player to scry 1 upon entering the battlefield, there are more powerful cards available for similar effects, like Serum Visions or Opt, which provide more consistent card selection. Eager Construct may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other options.

If multiple players are instructed to scry at once, such as while resolving Eager Construct’s triggered ability, those players each look at the top card of their library at the same time, then they choose in turn order whether to put those cards on the top or bottom of their library.
