Forbidden Lore could be beneficial in a green-based aggro deck looking to enhance its creatures' combat abilities while also providing additional utility from a land. However, there are more efficient options available, such as Rancor, which offers a similar effect for a lower cost and provides additional benefits like trample. Overall, while Forbidden Lore has some niche applications, it may not see widespread play due to the availability of better alternatives in the format.
