About Null Brooch
Null Brooch, Artifact, designed by DiTerlizzi first released in Jun, 1998 in the set Exodus. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 7.79.
The Null Brooch card would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on countering spells and disrupting the opponent's strategy. However, there are better options available such as Force of Will or Mana Drain, which provide more flexibility and efficiency in countering spells. Null Brooch may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its high cost and limited application compared to other more powerful counter spells.
Rules

A “creature spell” is any spell with the type Creature, even if it has other types such as Artifact or Enchantment. Older cards of type Summon are also Creature spells.
