About Oculus
Oculus, Creature — phyrexian homunculus, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in Feb, 2011 in the set Mirrodin Besieged. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of NZ$ 0.62.
The Oculus card could be beneficial in a blue control deck that focuses on card advantage and drawing cards. While the ability to draw a card upon Oculus's death is useful, there are better options available such as Mulldrifter or Baleful Strix, which offer more value for their cost. Ultimately, Oculus may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its limited impact compared to other available options.
